Peter Calfee, CPA, CFP®, CLU®

Peter joined MAI in 2018 after MAI’s acquisition of the wealth management division of his firm, Calfee Financial Advisors.

Peter was previously a Vice President at International Management Group (IMG). He has also worked at Arthur Andersen & Co. and Curtis Noll Corporation. He was honorably discharged as a First Lieutenant in the United States Army Reserves. Peter has also served as an Adjunct Professor at several colleges and universities including two distinct Financial Planning course programs.

Peter earned his BA from Stanford University and his MBA from the University of Chicago. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, and a Chartered Life Underwriter®. He has served as Chair of the CFP Board of Examiners and as a member of the CFP Board of Governors.

Peter has served on several non-profit Boards including a position as Treasurer of a nationally recognized museum.
