John Palguta of MAI Recognized as One of Barron's Top 1,200 Financial Advisors

March 18, 2021 – MAI is pleased to announce Managing Director John Palguta, CPA, has been named to the Barron’s Top 1,200 Financial Advisors by State list for 2021. He ranks 11th in the state of Ohio. Barron’s has been ranking financial advisors since 2004 to promote the best of the best in the industry. The 2021 list highlights America’s best financial advisors, organized by state, in order to help clients in their search for an advisor that fits their needs and can help them achieve their goals.

The rankings are based on data provided by around 4,000 of the nation's most productive advisors. Factors included in the rankings are assets under management, revenue produced for the firm, regulatory record, quality of practice and philanthropic work.

The Top 1,200 Financial Advisor award recognizes outstanding advisors in some of the larger, more affluent areas like Silicon Valley and New York, while still ensuring that top tier advisors in all 50 states get the recognition they deserve. This award is Barron’s largest, most comprehensive list, and it encompasses everyone from independents to employees of the big Wall Street firms.

At MAI, the client relationship is top priority. As a firm, we strive to do everything in our power to ensure that our clients are in the best hands to plan and achieve their financial goals. The human component of the advisor-client relationship is something that we keep top of mind and encourage our advisors to connect with clients on a personalized level. John embodies this philosophy in his daily work.

Barron's Top Advisors by State: The rankings are based on data provided by around 4,000 of the nation's most productive advisors. Factors included in the rankings: assets under management, revenue produced for the firm, regulatory record, quality of practice and philanthropic work. Investment performance isn't an explicit component because not all advisors have audited results and because performance figures often are influenced more by clients' risk tolerance than by an advisor's investment-picking abilities. The rankings are meant as a starting point for clients looking for an advisor—a first-pass vetting that can help investors narrow a search. Every advisor will have his or her own approach to investing, financial planning and other services. Clients are encouraged to approach a search for an advisor the way they would a search for a doctor—interviewing multiple professionals and getting opinions from multiple third parties.

Third-party rankings and recognitions are no guarantee of future investment success and do not ensure that a client or prospective client will experience a higher level of performance results. These rankings should not be construed as an endorsement of the advisor by any client nor are they representative of any one client's evaluation.
