Stephen Chaffin

Stephen is a Regional President at MAI, based out of the Little Rock, Arkansas office.
Prior to MAI, Stephen was the President and Managing Principal of Smith Capital Management, which he and three other business partners purchased in 1996. He was also previously the Executive Director at Downtown Partnership and has worked for Dean Witter and Merrill Lynch & Co.
Stephen earned his Bachelor’s in Banking and Finance from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
He currently serves on the Dean’s Executive Advisory Board for the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas.
